Artist Mari Renn,"Behind The Eyes" has been one of my on going logos and a stylilized self portrait of how I saw myself at that time this picture was painted. This painting is an acrylic on stretched canvas and will be shipped that way carefully. Dimensions are 24"x30" a unique and one of a kind piece handpainted and signed by artist Mari Renn. I have a couple of prints as well go to prints.

This picture has much meaning for me when asked to put some of my work in a one woman show at Montclair State University, I was given several topics to choose from and the one I choose was "Women In Sports", immediately this image of using the jockeys head for an eye popped into my mind's eye. My love of horses and thoroughbreds just seem to run through my spirit to make visual statements.

Of course not all paintings have such a clear cut vision. Although, that is why I crave to discuss with clients their love of the animal I am about to create on canvas for them. By communication with a client this helps me to transform and capture a sense of the clients vision and their love of that animal.
